Pedara is a well-known place not far from Etna, and lies half-way between the sea and the volcano, offering beautiful countryside and a healthy climate. The town is in fact suitable for an interesting cultural and nature tour, which, starting from the old town centre, has easy routes to the best views in the area. The town centre is full of shops and restaurants, night clubs and trendy bars. Villa Vittoria is in a residential area about 1.5 kms from the centre of the town, and a recent renovation has brought out the best in the house, which has been equipped with all the accessories that can help you pass a tranquil and restful holiday. It has the following equipment: satellite TV, stereo with CD player, washing-machine, dishwasher, barbecue, ping pong table. In the garden surrounding the house a 5x10m pool has been made and there are also: furnished relaxation areas, an area for dining outside, and a small football or basketball field. The sea at Acicastello or Capo Mulini is about 14 kms away, and Catania about 25 kms. The villa is a good starting point for day-trips to all the more interesting places down the east coast of Sicily. During the summer months Pedara is a well-known holiday town due to its cooler climate, thanks to its height above sea level (610 metres).
